David James (DJ) Palmore is a highly respected custom homebuilder in Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management/Engineering from Louisiana State University and immediately began his career working with a local Houston homebuilder. Over the past decade DJ has completed over 30 custom homes in area neighborhoods including River Oaks, West University, Memorial Villages, Tanglewood, Southampton, Southside Place, Braes Heights and Tiki Island.

DJ intentionally limits the number of homes under construction so that he can be completely involved from conception through completion phases including design and selections. He is committed to providing exceptional customer service and the highest level of residential construction. The thoughtful planning and meticulous craftsmanship demonstrated from floor to ceiling and everything in between is what sets him apart. His work includes collaboration with area top designers and he finishes each project with the finest materials resulting in understated, elegant homes.
A proud 2011 graduate of Sam Houston High School, I inherited a passion for carpentry from my father, who served as my mentor. Mastering custom carpentry became the cornerstone of my career in the construction industry.
My expertise evolved to include overseeing residential projects, leading to a seamless transition into project management. Today, I proudly serve as a dedicated and experienced supervisor, ensuring excellence in every aspect of the construction process.
Beyond my professional life, I am engaged and soon to marry my best friend after 11 years together. As a devoted father of two, I prioritize quality family time during spare moments, with weekdays dedicated to cheering on my daughter's tumbling practice and Saturdays reserved for my son's soccer games. Alongside my commitment to family, I find enjoyment in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.

Houston native, passionate about bookkeeping and construction, I graduated from Bellaire High School in 1990. After discovering my love for bookkeeping during high school, I pursued a BS in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1995.
In 1997, I started my bookkeeping career at Vallone Restaurant Group, handling accounts payable for the Grotto restaurants. In 2000, I became the Office Manager/Bookkeeper for Scott Frasier Homes, dedicating 14 years to the company and falling in love with job cost bookkeeping in the construction industry.
With nearly 24 years of experience, I continue to bring my commitment to excellence to every project. Personally, I am a proud mother to my 15-year-old son, Phill, and enjoy long walks, time with my son, our dogs, Ferb and Roscoe, and cooking. Outside of my personal life, I am grateful to work with wonderful people who contribute to the success of our projects.
